Auto Tweeting from my VaultMultimedia.com website…. Sweet.

It’s true, you can blog and have those blog post links post right to Twitter automagically.  Done.

MinistryVault.com Soon to Relaunch

MinistryVault.com was conceived in 1999 – a place to help churches make the most of their through education and sharing tech tools with them.  After a long silence, it will soon relaunch with a few areas of focus:

  1. Leveraging Google Applications to save churches time and money.
  2. Cheap church websites ala Wordpress – all the best practices.
  3. Apple hardware and software… why you should switch immediately.
  4. iPhones and iPads
  5. Video and Audio podcasting…. inspired and informed from my other company: portablesermons.com

While the site will be a clearinghouse for USEFUL information concerning the above topics, it will also be a place to grab tutorials and training.  We will publish a monthly newsletter and host monthly meetups (William Jessup University has been a big help in this area!)

More to come  very … very… soon….

Google SYNC + iPhone = Mobile Bliss

If you are an iPhone user and have Google Apps as your email suite, you MUST start using Google Sync.  I was hesitant to do so – having gone through a bad experience with other contact-syncing services.  But this was completely different – it actually works!

Any changes to your email, calendar and contacts on EITHER your phone or Google Apps account will immediately be synchronized on the other device.  It does not require connecting your phone to your computer, this works real-time from anywhere you have data connectivity on your phone. Workshops

We have had a great response to our training series – hosted at William Jessup University. We train churches how to improve their websites and how to podcast their sermons. Every other month the subject switches, so if you missed one – there will be another opportunity the following month or two.

Read the comments to hear reactions from those who have attended. Let us know if you have questions.

Portable Sermons is 1.0!

www.PortableSermons.comPortable Sermons is the web application we wrote for churches who want to podcast their sermons. It is quite simply the easiest way for a church to podcast. Log in, upload, title your sermon… and you are done.

The FREE version ($0/mo.) is now even better and has all the features of the PRO version ($29/mo). The only difference between the two is that the FREE version serves up only one file – the most recent sermon – in iTunes and on your website. The PRO version offers your entire archive of sermons for listening live, downloading or sending to a friend.

New features include automatic Scripture links, download and “send to a friend” links on every sermon, a more compact list view, customizable list view, pop-out listening box for listening to any sermon right on your website, an improved administration screen, and automatic password retrieval.

If you are already use PortableSermons.com, check out the new features, or pass it on if you know someone who might benefit from the service.  We are still giving away iPod Nanos to the first 10 pre-paid yearly subscribers!
